About the CARC

The Chipola Amateur Radio Club was founded December 14, 1976 with C. A. "Abe" Adams presiding. We met for the first time in the Marianna City Hall with the stated purpose of "the advancement of the many aspects and technology of Amateur Radio". Over the years the meeting places have changed many times but the purpose of promoting Amateur Radio has not. Today we meet monthly on thursday night at 7:00 PM or on Saturday at 9 AM which usually includes a test session and cookout following the meeting. See the calendar. Meetings are open to all persons interested in Amateur Radio. We hope to see you at our next meeting. 73.
